Lucky Schedule for UEFA Europa League is an Excel project with all tournament events and automated group round calculations. All you need to do for working with this schedule is to fill in match results. Everything else will be done right away by Excel. It will automatically work out teams positions in a group. With this excel file you'll be ahead of the game and know about every event in the tournament.
The UEFA Cup has been an excellent tournament over the years, but in some senses it has suffered a little bit being a different tournament and not having the same prestige as the UEFA Champions League. The UEFA Cup, launched for the 1971/72 season, is to become the UEFA Europa League from the beginning of the 2009/10 campaign as work continues to enhance the image and profile of European club football's second club competition. We've got a new competition and a new format for 2009-12, with true group stage and both home and away matches.
The 12 winners and the 12 runners-up in the group stage will advance to the first knock out round (Round of 32), together with 8 third placed teams from the Champions League group stage.
The final of the 2009-10 Europa League will be held at the HSH Nordbank Arena in Hamburg, Germany, on 12 May 2010.
