PDF Xpansion SDK - the kernel library of PDF Xpansion technology.
The library provides for applications an ability to use digital documents in PDF, PDF/A and XPS formats. The library is built in a special way to satisfy the requirements of almost any category of third-party developers or systems integrators.
The PDF SDK consists of the following libraries:
- PDF Direct: create and save PDF files, add new pages over "draw" technique (or print procedure)
- PDF Quick View: load, read, display and print
- PDF Quick Viewer: ready PDF Reader with already implemented user functionality, also available as ActiveX- and .NET-Control
- PDF Quick Converter: import images, text and HTML files in PDF documents; export text from a PDF document, export PDF pages as images
- PDF/A Direct: create and save PDF/A files
- PDF/A Converter: converting of the existing PDF documents to PDF/A-1a, PDF/A-1b
- PDF Builder: create new pages of a PDF document and fill page content objects
- PDF Rich Edit: edit pages a PDF document through the modifying of the page content objects
Several extensions increase the kernel functionality, for example: Bookmarks, Watermarks, Comments, Forms, merge documents.
PDF SDK can be used on the platform of any modern version of Windows: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 2008, Windows 7. 32-bit and 64-bit versions are also supported.
PDF library is completely independent and it does not require any specific system components or any software that is not included in the operating system.
