The results will show your Basal Metabolic Rate, the number of calories you need to maintain your weight, and the number of calories to safely lose or gain weight. Calculations are based on the Harris-Benedict formula which will be accurate in all but the extremely muscular (it will underestimate calories) or extremely overweight (it will overestimate calories).
