DOPly has been designed with ease of use in mind: just embed the Flash file onto a HTML page, merely add an attribute that specifies the path to a stream and you're set - DOPly will do everything else for you! It resizes automatically to fit inside the container it resides in. For it's ease of use, the player supports Flash variables that set video path, video details (like width, height, duration, fileSize... these are, of course, optional, in case a video does not have metadata), video feed (path to a mrss video feed file), configuration file (path to a XML file that holds even more configuration settings)... and more. And all these are optional. Of course, at least a video attribute, or feed should be specified so that the player can actually DO what's intended for. When seeking, the player takes advantage of any seekpoints or cuepoints available, for better seek times. DOPly is actually a big, on-going project, carefully planed, which will constantly receive updates and lots of new cool features, among which include: a sharing module (with social networks, via email), video ad creatives (and not only video), subtitles (the most popular subtitle formats); these among others.
