Japanese Kana Flashcards is exactly what it sounds like. You can flip through flashcards of the Kana characters, with the option of showing or hiding the Romaji (latin phoneic equivalents to the Kana) There are several other options including the ability to choose Hiragana or Katakana (characters used for Japanese words from foreign sources) and a setting to chose to display them in standard order (a-z) or to shuffle them and have the program choose them in a random order. plans for future versions include adding the advanced (combination) Kana, the ability to play the sounds as spoken by native Japanese speakers, and a quiz module to test what you have learned!
